I'm really excited to see the results of the election this year. My family is really big into politics and my brother in law works in Washington D.C. He's been working on a campaign team for the past 72 hours and is very involved with the election. My sister is so nervous, she insisted that her brother and sister in laws join her to watch the news because her husband (my brother in law) won't be home until really late.
Who will it be? This is a big year. I can't wait to know who will be the President of our country for the next four years. Regardless of who wins, I hope they have the best interests of our country at heart.
What did you think of the outcome?
ReplyDeleteWell, at first I was upset. It's sad to see the foundations this country was created on starting to dwindle away. Really sad. But I realized there is nothing I can do to immediately change the situation so I might as well keep being happy while I still have things to be happy about. My sister took it pretty hard though. Wednesday morning was rough for her...luckily I got my mission call and opened it that afternoon to bring her out of her slump :)
